Position. Owner of The Brampton Therapeutic Centre and Therapist
Description. Lisa Alexander has lived and worked in the Brampton area for over 16 years. Originally from Baltimore, Maryland in the United States were she worked as a Wetland Biologist in the preservation and restoration of wetlands and forests. Lisa has continued her education in complementary therapies and teaching at Carlisle College and The University of Central Lancashire (UCLAN). The Brampton Therapeutic Centre was created to provide a wider range of treatments to her clients and the surrounding Brampton area. Lisa has recently completed an Advanced Soft Tissue Myofacial Release Course with the well known Art Riggs. This type of deep tissue massage helps to relieve chronic tension.
Lisa also offers adult education complementary taster classes through Trinity School. Look out for courses in Trinity's September brochure.

Position. Physiotherapist, Sports Massage and Medical Acupuncture
Description. After a career in the Armed Forces, Mandy trained as a Physiotherapist at the University of Lancaster and is a member of the Chartered Society of Physiotherapists (CSP), which is regulated by the Health Professions Council, UK (HPC). Since qualifying Mandy has further specialised, completing post-graduate training in Sports and Remedial Deep Tissue Massage and Reflextherapy and is a member of the Association of Chartered Physiotherapists in Reflextherapy (ACPIRT).By using a combination of the skills gained from these courses, Mandy is able to offer an individually tailored treatment approach, utilising specific techniques to treat the stress, tension, fatigue and injury that can occur through everyday occupational, recreational or sporting activities. Name . Natasha Younus, MBAcC
Description. Natasha is a graduate of Chinese Medicine and Acupuncture from the University of Westminster, London, and a registered member of the British Acupuncture Council. Having completed her degree she came to Cumbria to continue studying BSc Physiotherapy at the University of Cumbria where she is a full-time student. Acupuncture is a holistic therapy that tailors treatments to the needs of the individual. A wide range of conditions can be treated including musculoskeletal, respiratory, circulatory, anxiety and stress, and gyneacological.
Name. Jackie Cooper, NIMH
Position. Medical Herbalist
Description. Having always had an interest in good health and meditation Jackie left her job as a London solicitor to become a volunteer at the Holy Island project off the Isle of Arran for a year. Moving back to the mainland she came to Cumbria to work as a solicitor in Carlisle and Brampton part-time while studying at the Scottish School of Herbal Medicine. After a four year degree course, and registered with the National Institute of Medical Herbalists, Jackie uses Herbalism for a wide range of conditions including; skin conditions. digestive disorders, menopause, headaches, stress, heart and circulatory problems.
